Just opposite the west front of the Cathedral stands the magnificent King's House, which houses Salisbury Museum.The building itself is only the beginning as there's also an interactive gallery on Stonehenge, showing information on how and when it may have been built.The costume gallery upstairs showcases costume and textiles from the area, including costumes from 1750 to 1980. There's a section on Downton Lace, produced in the nearby village of Downton.Far bigger than it appears from the outside, this museum is the ideal place to unwind after walking around the medieval city and Cathedral.
