  Wow - I really love this optician! He's thorough, knowledgable and extremely helpful. They can answer the curved ball questions and will take the time with you. I can't recommend them highly enough.

• Superb Service

  I have been using Silverthornes for 40 years now along with my family. They have always been extremely efficient friendly and helpful. Although they don't have the special offers and by one get one free offers I feel their service is worth more. Nothing is ever too much trouble. They have dealt with members of my family with special problems with great tact and sensitivity and I cannot recommend them highly enough. The premises are always clean and sparkling, with a great range of products, friendly and efficient staff what more could you want.

• Great Optician

  I've been going to this optician for about ten years now and the service has always been great. The staff are really friendly and always make plenty of time for you. Because it's an independently run optician I think you get a much higher standard of care and attention than with the highstreet optician chains. Their prices may be slightly more than in a highstreet chain but are certainly not excessive and well worth paying that little bit extra for. They also have a great choice of specs to choose from including more classical styles and frames which are a bit more funky. I would reccommend them without hesitation.
